Biography

Yuzhang Shang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at ŮÆÍAV (UCF), affiliated with the .Ìý

Shang earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology (2021-2025) advised by Prof.  (now at University of Illinois Chicago, UIC). During his Ph.D. journey, Shang was awarded . Shang was a visiting student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison hosted by Prof.  (lab famous for LLaVA). He interned as a researcher at  working with  a²Ô»å  (team famous for MobileNet), and interned as a research scientist at  working with  a²Ô»å . Before earning his Ph.D., Shang worked as research assistants at Shandong University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) under the supervision of Prof.  and Prof. , respectively. He received my bachelor’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics (dual degrees) at Wuhan University.Ìý
