Hitt will present his annual State of the University Address at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union.

The university community is invited to hear him discuss UCF’s opportunities and challenges, along with his vision for the university’s future.

The president’s address will be followed by remarks from Dr. Reid Oetjen, chair of the Faculty Senate, and Weston Bayes, president of the Student Government Association.

Doors for the event will open at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow the address.

Hitt will present his annual State of the University message Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union.

The president will focus on the significance of UCF’s first 50 years, plus look ahead to the future of the university.

Reid Oetjen, president of the Faculty Senate, and Melissa Marie Westbrook, president of the Student Government Association, also are scheduled to speak.

The program is scheduled 3-4:30 p.m. and will include refreshments.
