When\u00a0Central Florida\u00a0K-12 schools\u00a0announced they would transition\u00a0to\u00a0remote\u00a0instruction due to the coronavirus pandemic, UCF\u00a0Center for Distributed\u00a0Learning\u00a0executive director\u00a0Kelvin Thompson \u201999MA \u201905EdD<\/strong>\u00a0suspected teachers were going to need a little extra help.<\/p>\n
Thompson started to compile a list of resources \u2014 from videos with tips on putting classes online to podcasts on \u201cmaking remote teaching happen\u201d \u2014 and started typing a message of support to his teaching brethren.<\/p>\n
