UCF\u2019s Emergency Management team is actively tracking severe weather moving through the tropics.<\/p>\n
While it is difficult to think about the impact of a hurricane in the time of COVID-19<\/a>, this is a possibility we all must be prepared for, and teams from 女仆AV plan for hurricane season year-round<\/a>.<\/p>\n It\u2019s always a good idea to have a hurricane kit ready for the season<\/a>, which lasts through November. Include enough food and water for three days, and don\u2019t forget medications, identification and a weather radio.<\/p>\n The UCF Alert text and email message system will be used to keep the university community notified of severe weather threats. All students and employees are automatically signed up to receive these messages, and settings can be updated via myUCF<\/a>.<\/p>\n Additionally, updates will be shared on UCF\u2019s official social media channels and at ucf.edu<\/a>. Let\u2019s each do our part by staying aware and prepared, and together, we\u2019ll make UCF a safer place for all of us.<\/p>\n
