Management Professor Carol Saunders was awarded the LEO award by the Association for Information Systems (AIS). Named after one of the world’s first commercial applications of computing (The Lyons Electronic Office), the purpose of the LEO Award is to recognize truly outstanding individuals in the information systems community who have made exceptional contributions to research in and\/or the practice of information systems. LEO Award winners are expected to be a role model and an inspiration to colleagues and students within the information systems field. In addition, they should be capable of commanding the respect of individuals from outside the field, because their contributions will have had an impact in fields other than information systems.
