<\/strong>Members of the UCF and outside communities are invited to buy, sell, trade and donate clothes, appliances, furniture, electronics and more at the first Knights Plaza Garage sale, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the area in front of the UCF Arena.<\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public, though only students will be allowed to sell items.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event promotes a sense of community by providing students with the opportunity to help fellow students, the community and the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling,\u201d said Brandon Delanois director for Development and Promotions for the UCF Convocation Corporation.<\/p>\n

For $10, students can reserve a vendor spot where they can display items to sell, trade or donate.<\/p>\n

Any non-food items can be donated to AMVETS, which has been assisting veterans and sponsoring programs that serve our country and its citizens since 1944. Non-perishable food items can be donated to the Knights Helping Knights Pantry<\/a>, the campus program that connects struggling students with food, toiletries and gently-used clothing.<\/p>\n

Members of the public can attend the event as buyers or donate items to charity partners. Free parking will be available in garages D and F, as well as along East and West Plaza drives near the UCF Arena.<\/p>\n

About Knights Plaza and the UCF Arena<\/strong><\/p>\n

Knights Plaza is located on the UCF campus and consists of the UCF Arena, Towers Housing, outdoor amenities and associated retail shops. Visit for more information.

The Global Spectrum-managed UCF Arena is home to the UCF Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s basketball programs, as well as concerts, family shows and other attractions for the Central Florida area.
